Gareth Edwards is a contemporary landscape and seascape painter who lives in Cornwall and who works in the famous award-winning Porthmeor Studios in Saint Ives near to the Tate Gallery, once occupied by such luminaries as Patrick Heron, Ben Nicholson and Francis Bacon. He is running painting holidays in Spain this year

He lives in Newlyn with his wife and two daughters. His paintings and sculpture evoke elemental emotional weathers and beautiful spatial atmospheres, " of stardust and mud .. " (Laura Gascoigne) of ozone and oceanography.

Gareth was elected a full RWA in 2004 and is a prominant member of the NSA.
